"In a test pilot activity, I met with approximately 20 students from grades 2 through 8, and together we safely shared the things that troubled us the most about life. For several weeks we met on a weekly basis and called our collective, "The Power Of Voice."

The most common complaint among the students was about how other people affected them; how others "got on [their] nerves and "drove [them] crazy" with the things they said and did around them.

With this outreach, I created a mindfulness meditation piece for them, and entitled it exactly as they collectively chose for me to call it: "Certain People Are Getting On My Nerves."

Together we listened to it, and some of the students shared their responses.

I hope this guided mindfulness practice will bless your children, in the same way it blessed my own student lovelies.
